This 60-minute educational session outlines the health risks of prolonged sitting, introduces the need to move throughout the day, describes the health benefits of yoga, discusses common (mis)perceptions about yoga, and introduces a few simple movements that you can do at your workstations to incorporate movement into your day.

About the Presenter:

Andrew Jobes sat at a desk for 20 years. He left his government office job 3 ½ years ago and uses his science background and experience as a yoga teacher to develop workshops and classes that help undo the negative health effects on the body and mind of stress and prolonged sitting.

Cost: Free to attend, with Chamber or WBN membership. Bring your own lunch.
